David is a foundation investor and Executive Chairman of Community Engine, a social networking and community engagement technology company. For the three years immediately prior to investing in Community Engine, David was a founding partner of O’Sullivan Pullini, a firm that over three years (2005 – 2007) established a profile as a leading independent investment bank in Australia.
Prior to co-founding O’Sullivan Pullini, David managed international corporate businesses for fifteen years. This experience included general management, business development, acquisitions and divestment responsibilities. In Australia, David worked with both Lend Lease and Brambles Group before transferring to Europe in 1997 as General Manager, Industrial Services with Brambles.
David has deep experience and understanding of the key drivers of profitable business growth with a particular focus on strategy, finance and building successful teams. He has a clear insight, gained through experience, of Board requirements and how to successfully manage the competing and complex demands of all stakeholders.
For the eight years David was based in Europe, he managed a portfolio of Brambles’ international businesses. During this period David completed a Master of Business Administration at IMD, Switzerland. He enjoys an active network of international business associates and professionals including membership of the Evian Group, a privately funded international current affairs forum.
In Australia, David is a private supporter of Inscription, a group formed to unearth, develop and promote new content for Australian theatre, film and television.
